Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Tailendar mobile application handles information. It describes exactly what the app itself does, and separately explains the limited, standard technical processing that can occur anywhere on the internet when any app retrieves content over HTTPS.

Accounts and personal information

Tailendar does not require or offer account creation, sign-in, or a user profile. The app does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

Information stored on your device

Tailendar stores your pet preference (Dog, Cat, or Both) and any Favorites you save locally on your device only. This local information is not transmitted to Tailendar, is not visible to us, and is not used for any purpose beyond letting the app remember your preference and Favorites between sessions on that device.

Daily content delivery

To show the daily photo and caption, the app requests publicly available content (images and captions) over HTTPS from Tailendar's content delivery domain. These are ordinary content requests, similar to loading any image or webpage; Tailendar does not attach any personal or account information to these requests, because the app has none to attach.

As with any HTTPS request made over the internet, the servers and network infrastructure involved in delivering that content (for example, standard web and content-delivery infrastructure) may process ordinary technical information as part of routing and serving the request, such as an IP address, in the same way this occurs for any website or app request. This is standard internet infrastructure behavior, not something the Tailendar app collects, stores, analyzes, or has access to.

Sharing feature

Tailendar includes a Share option that opens your device's native share sheet so you can send a caption to an app of your choice. Tailendar does not see, log, or receive information about what you share or who you share it with; that exchange happens entirely through your device's operating system and the app you choose.

What Tailendar does not do

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising or ad networks
• No accounts, sign-in, or user profiles
• No third-party data-collection SDKs
• No sale or sharing of personal information, because none is collected

Children's privacy

Tailendar does not collect personal information from any user, including children, because the app does not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
